Even in winter it regularly draws us into the air. Although we are currently not allowed to fly tandem and no mountain railway in Germany, Franz and I have taken advantage of the weather today.
Nevertheless, the wonderful winter landscape after the recent onset of winter in Berchtesgadener Land had to be used for skiing. We did not have such beautiful deep snow slopes throughout the winter. It would have been a waste to miss the departure for a paragliding flight.
Today we grabbed the touring skis again, the light mountain umbrella in the luggage and then on to the Jenner! A mountain umbrella is a paraglider that is built extra light and usually also has easier starting behavior. Arriving at the top, we were rewarded with the beautiful view over the Königssee and over to the Watzmann. Move, unpack the paraglider and get into the air! Ski&Fly is the motto.
In such weather, the ascent can be so exhausting, the paraglider flight makes up for everything. We are already looking forward to the first tandem flight and the summer...
