We are passionate paraglider pilots and spend every free minute in the air. We would like to bring you closer to this breathtaking feeling of freedom and our enthusiasm for paragliding with a tandem flight. Start with us on an airy adventure over the Königssee in the Berchtesgaden Alps, far away from everyday stress. take off and Lose the ground under your feet!

PROCEDURE

1. Meeting point

Our landing site is located at Pension Kohlhiasl, where we will also meet. The address is: Oberschönauer Straße 44, Schönau am Königssee.

You are welcome to take friends and family who are waiting for you at the landing site. But please do not enter the country meadow, but wait next door on the way.

2. Access to Flugberg + Bergfahrt

The Jenner with the Jennerbahn is about 3 kilometers from the landing site. So it would be good if you arrive by car. We drive together with one vehicle to the Jennerbahn and fetch it after the tandem flight with the other vehicle.
The subsequent mountain ride takes about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, we can already chat a bit and you can ask us the first holes about paragliding in the stomach.

3. Start

At the starting point you will receive a briefing from us and we will put your flight equipment on. After the start check, it is only necessary to wait for suitable wind conditions and then it starts: We run a few steps downhill together until the umbrella carries us and we take off. This is perhaps the part that challenges you the most, but at the latest in the air the tension settles and we can enjoy the flight.

Small note: Often our start is called a tandem jump. Formally, this is not correct 🙂

4. Flight

In the air you can relax and enjoy the panorama of the Berchtesgaden Alps to the fullest. A conversation during paragliding is easily possible. We are happy to explain the environment to you and answer your questions.

5. Landing

Towards the end of the flight we will explain how the landing with the paraglider takes place. Soon you will feel solid ground under your feet again and hopefully remember our flight for a long time. We will land again at the Gasthof Kohlhiasl, where we met.

Protector and rescue package

Once started, we sit under the paraglider in our harness. Underneath the buttocks is a protectorwhich also protects us near the ground.

For the absolute emergency, there is a rescue parachute Always at hand.

According to the law, the connection between us must withstand at least 2,400kg, the paraglider has at least a breaking load of 1,100kg!

Protective equipment

Of course, every guest gets a helmet from us.

Furthermore, please wear solid footwear, a long pair of trousers and warm clothes . The higher we fly, the colder it gets!

Gliding parachute

The paraglider as the heart of our equipment is regularly checked by a professional workshop. It is approved according to German and European standards.

 Trustindex checks if the original source of the rating is Google. I had planned it for a long time, but always postponed. At last I had dared. At the start there were still creepy knees and heart racing, which was gone once we were in the air. In between, it jerks something, like in the sea, but everything normal. Wonderful views enjoyed from above, just wonderful. There was a lack of thermals, so it did not go up the mountains, but also so beautiful. Franz told me a lot and showed me a lot. Especially on Königssee I can only recommend that, I had booked the thermal flight, which I would recommend, so you have longer from the view. The process was well organized, great team.

Wolfgang beste Mann, explained everything about thermal flights while flying, did a real touri tour about everything you could see in the air (could see for Salzburg) He knew completely where which lake was, etc. He just felt Goggle Maps in person. This was sooooo cool would make it again and again and from my perspective it is partly comparable to looping roller coaster riding:)

Everything went very relaxed. A very friendly fun team that took the excitement away from us. Lots of information about take-off and landing. In between great experiences and impressions in the air.   Once in a lifetime Only 2 days ago we decided we’d all like to jump off a cliff! And boy did the company step up and make it happen. 11 Novices, Perfect Conditions and Brilliant Instruction- An Experience Not to Be Missed.   Unforgettable experience It was absolutely impressive and unforgettable. The pilots are very nice and prepared for all eventualities. Unfortunately, I got a little nauseous in the air (in advance the question of how you are on a ship) but also it was absolutely sympathetically reacted.   Sympathetic, safe and fun! I had an incredible flight with Simon. It was a lot of fun. He talked about the thermals and the mountains/the landscape.   A breathtaking flight experience with a great pilot! The tandem flight was a great experience. Everything was right: the weather, the organization, the pilot, the thermals. I felt in good hands immediately and had full confidence in Wolfgang, an experienced pilot. He prepared everything carefully and explained to me exactly how the process worked. Due to the good wind conditions, the start went smoothly. Wolfgang explained a lot to me about thermals, the mountains below us and other things worth knowing about paragliding. At the same time, he filmed and photographed. I can only recommend everyone to book this experience with Simon from "Tandemffly-Berchtesgaden". The guys are in good shape, have a lot of experience and organize quickly and easily. A little tip to conclude: Since other independent pilots are sometimes called in, please clarify beforehand whether the pilot can also tell about the landscape, thermals and general paraglides and whether he takes the photos and films, if it is important for you. It also happens that some pilots push the camera into the passenger's hand and tell nothing because they do not want to disturb the flight experience...
